Any thoughts?
Taking Store of my Stories
1) Firelock - This is a book about the Revolutionary War that takes place shortly after the Fall of Charleston in May 1780. It deals with a company of militia that reforms following the surrender of their colonel and how they come to join in with Thomas Sumter's partisan brigade.
2) Appomattox Book 3 - I don't have a working title for this yet. Action will begin months after the events of Last Airship to Khartoum in England.
3) On to Kharkov - This is a WWII novel about German and Soviet soldiers fighting in the Ukraine in 1941. The principle action follows two infantry platoons as they move closer and closer to their fateful meeting in the Industrial center of Kharkov.
4) Hunting Season - This is my second attempt at a Zombie novel. I actually had it edited. It was fun to write and is at about 70% complete. It takes place in a small town in Georgia the night when Terrorists attack the CDC and unleash the apocalypse. It still needs some work.
5) Thursdays - It is a story about a terrorist attack on a major city and how the people who are there at the attack react. I have written three chapters of it and then put it on the shelf for over a year.
6) Eliazar's Promise - Set in modern Israel, an archeology team is attacked while traveling to a dig. They are forced to hide in a cave that reveals some ancient manuscripts. The story moves between the manuscript and the archeology team. I am probably about a 1/4 of the way into this one.
7) Border Crisis - This is a sci Fi short story that I had published on-line with WattPad and the Amazon version of it. I had very few readers there and mixed reviews so this project lies dormant.
At the moment, I am spending time on Firelock as it coincides with the research I am doing on another non-fiction project. I would love to hear from you if there is one of these that you are more interested in. Now to get back to editing The Last Airship from Khartoum.

And the Editing rolls on.
So my release plans for April of this year are apparently some fantasy rather than anything realistic.
But I need some help from you. As the book sits now, it is really two parts. The first ten chapters deal with wrapping up some issues left over from the first book. Then the next twenty cover what the title is really about. Should these be broken up into 2 separate books? The whole thing is currently about 65K words in total. Do I release the first half as a novella for $0.99 and the second half as a book? Or keep the whole thing together? I can't decide.

Another Intereview!
Pressing Forward
The Third Book in the Devareaux Series
I have started work on the third Devareaux novel. I had a burst of inspiration and started to work through the first chapter. The scene crystallized itself in my mind and it started to flow really well. What hasn't happened is the rest of the story. I had a first thought that i have already rejected. It started down an Indiana Jones type of path that really did not suit the stories as a whole. What I am thinking of doing is bringing Devareaux and his crew back home and involve them in a war with Mexico. When Devareaux gets back to the Confederacy, it will be 1885 and the second year of Porfiro Diaz's presidency. Mexico was still involved with the Mayans in the Yucatan. They had just destroyed their independent state in 1883 but historically would not finish the fight with the Mayans until 1901. They had just finished with a coup which propelled Porfiro Diaz into power. They are just a few years away from the Garza Revolution in 1891.
Given this, it's time to make a mess of history again. Confederate Airships may just have to take to the skies above the state of Coahula. We will see how this all turns out.
Science Fiction Stories
i just got back from Space Camp with my Cub Scout. We all had a great time. But it triggered an idea for a story. I am thinking of posting it in sections here on the blog. Basically it a story of a commercial interest colonizing Mars. It opens with a board room meeting discussing why the colony is running over costs. Anyway, I hope to get something together for you.Wednesday, March 2, 2016
New release by Judith Lucci The Queen of NOLA #Medical #Thrillers Dr. Dude #Mystery, #Thriller & #Suspense #animals #RPBP @JudithLucci

Her tattooed abductor terrified her as she focused on the snake tattoo on his hand. “Just let me go, and I promise I won't tell anyone," the young woman whimpered. “I promise.”
“Shut up, or I’ll really hurt you,” the savage voice promised as he slapped her face and slammed her into the side of the vehicle. He shoved her again and bent her body like a pretzel. His body covered hers, making it impossible for anyone to see her from three sides.
The young woman's voice raised to feverish pitch as another person pushed her into the trunk of her car. The monster pinned her arms behind her head and shoved her elbow against the spare tire. She winced as an excruciating, burning pain sent stinging shocks into her head. She cried uncontrollably and could not stop shaking.
"Shut your yammer,” the man hissed softly, his face so close to her blindfold she could smell his foul breath. “If you don't, it’ll be much worse for you," he warned as he loomed over her, making her feel small and defenseless. She couldn't see him through her translucent blindfold but sensed he had dark hair.
"Please, please, please just let me go. My father will give you a reward. He has a lot of money." As she made the promise, her teeth chattered violently. Tears streamed down her face, making her cough. She was unable to brush them away.
The man laughed a slow, evil sound that caused chill bumps on her arms. "Your father doesn't have enough money to stop what we have planned for you, not nearly enough, so shut your pretty mouth and be quiet before I put your lights off."
A wave of fresh sobs exploded from the terrified woman as she lay in the trunk of the car. Her body shuddered from head to toe, and she couldn’t control the tears streaming from her face.
The noise infuriated her assailant as he glowered at his helpless victim. A feeling of euphoria settled over him. He loved watching helpless women squirm. He shook her head and pounded it against the trunk of the car.
"I told you to shut up. If you don’t stop screaming, I'm gonna cut your voice box out. Do you understand?"
Allison nodded and coughed.
“Be quiet.” Allison heard a female voice speak for the first time. “I’d hate to mess up your pretty face,” she said in a singsong voice that frightened the young woman more than the snarl and guttural voice of the man.
A wave of fresh sobs exploded from the scared woman, as she lay helpless in the trunk of the car.
She thrashed around wildly. Where’d the woman come from? She tried to see her through her blindfold but she couldn’t. For some reason, she was more frightened of the woman. Her body shook, and her teeth chattered.
“I hope the bitch doesn’t mess herself up,” the man commented.
The woman stared at him. “You know what to do, so just do it.”
The man hesitated for an instant, and the woman pushed him aside and glared at the helpless young captive.
That was when the lights went out for Allison Massie. The woman stepped back with an evil smile on her face and murmured, “Well, I guess I shut her up.”
Despite the choke hold, the woman glared at him defiantly.
The tattooed man let her go and pushed her against the car. “Get back in the office and do damage control,” he snarled, “and don’t ever cross me again.” He jumped in the car and headed west.
