Sharpsburg Sunrise Updated

A reviewer spotted an inconsistency between the CSS Appomattox and Sharpsburg Sunrise. And he as absolutely correct. In CSS Appomattox, the crystal of the watch Devareaux carries is scratched. At the end of Sharpsburg Sunrise it is repaired. This has now been fixed and uploaded to all distributors.

Sorry about that.

Editing The Last Airship from Khartoum

I am still going through the edits that I have received so far. I have no idea why, but it is a job that I absolutely dread doing. The changes recommended definitely improve what I have done. But it completely feels like I am back in High School English class and receiving back a paper that is fairly dripping with red ink back from the teacher. Things are not nearly that dire as back then but the feeling remains the same.

As such, I have been dragging my feet in getting these edits done. I am going to get back to work on it today. The editors that I have found on Fiverr have been fantastic and I am very happy with their work so far.

Here is hoping to a new release on Amazon by February!

2015 Year in Review

In many ways, I am very happy to see the end of 2015. It was a very challenging year personally. However, writing wise it was rather exciting for me.

Accomplished:
1) Published The Home in August.
2) Published Sharpsburg Sunrise in December.

3) Completed the first draft of the Sequel to CSS Appomattox, The Last Airship from Khartoum.

I also published two short stories on WriteOn.

I looked through my book sales and can sadly note that I offended Amazon by leaving KDP Select in mid February. Things never were quite the same again. But all in all, it was an exciting year. I have sold books in over seven different countries. The UK being the second largest by far.

2016 needs some goals set. First is to finish the editing on Last Airship to Khartoum. I want to release by February. But that means I need to get my act together and edit.

I am starting a new project which will be a historical fiction book on the Battle for Kharkov in 1941. I think I can have this done by summer. Depending on how that turns out, I will either go back to the Devareaux series for the final book or another historical fiction book.

Happy New Year Everyone

Welcome to 2016. It is looking to be an exciting new year. I am getting closer to releasing Last Airship from Khartoum, the second novel in the Thomas Devareaux series. I am working my way through the edits.

I also am making some good progress on a historical novel, On to Kharkov. This one follows the German advance through the Ukraine in October of 1941. So far it has been fun to write the first two chapters of it. It follows the historical battles of the German 101st Light Division and the Soviet 216th Infantry Division through the battle.

I have some other ideas that I am batting around in my head once these are done. Let's see where this year leads.
